    We were in the neighborhood and wanted to go get some sushi.
    This place came up and the photos looked great so we stopped by.
    We got the toro special roll, sashimi combo, yellow tail roll and one other roll that I can't remember the name of.
    I would say the toro special roll was the best out of all of this- seriously melts in your mouth!
    Definitely recommend this place.

    Kai sushi is a fantastically fun and lively place to have sushi.  The restaurant has lots of seating for couples, quads and big families.  We have never had to wait in line for a table. If you want great sushi without waiting in line, come here!  It's also a great value for the amount of sushi and quality you get.

    TUNA LOVERS, please come here.  We love tuna and ordered the Arvin Roll and CT Tower.  They also have the big shot roll with spicy tuna inside and tuna sashimi on top.

    The Arvin Roll was perfect with shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber, and spicy tuna on top with eel sauce and crumbs.  It was a great balance of great flavors!  

    The CT tower is fresh tuna chunks, fresh big pieces of avocado, masago, sesame oil, seaweed salad, shredded white radish and shredded sweet potatoes crumbs. It was stacked in a perfect round 6 inch high  tower of yumminess!

    Service was super attentive and friendly.  The owner came around to make sure everyone was having a good time.  He asked us if we wanted to try some fresh pieces of cooked salmon from salmon head.  We loved it n appreciated the free tasting.  Kai is a great place for sushi in Poway without paying big prices.  It's a super, great value.

    I really like coming to this place. It's my go to sushi place in Poway. They have good lunch specials as well as teriyaki bowls and other non-sushi items. It's always a great experience and the serves are super friendly. My favorite dish is the salmon salad. For the price and service, I would recommend this place to others in the area. Plenty of parking and quite ambience.

    This place has good food. Went here with my coworkers and had a sashimi salad.  The salad was huge and tasty. Definitely a lot of food. The sushi rolls were large and my good per my coworkers.
